23.24 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE with reasons

Cllr Wilkinson sent apologies.

         

24.24 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST - to receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any applications for dispensation.

Cllr Markillie declared an interest in Planning application H21-0143-23 as she is a trustee of Medleys charity.

Clerk’s Notes from the meeting on 5th February2024 were taken as read and signed as minutes by the Chair.

 

26.24 TO CONSIDER ITEMS FOR & FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES/PARISH COUNCIL

REPRESENTATIVE AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

Cllr Tyrrell informed council that the garden waste bins that have been on order are now being distributed, if anyone wants one, they need to get their order into SHDC.

Garden waste collections are due to start this month.

Cllr Coupland informed Council that all 6 parishes close to proposed pylon route were against the scheme and that LCC had voted against it too.

An extra 20 million pounds has been put into 2024/25 budget for potholes.

 

27.24 CLERKS REPORT

The Clerk reported:

All correspondence from the February meeting has been dealt with.

The defibrillator in TSM has been successfully updated.

  d. Update on Cllr Eves mandate with Unity Trust Bank

      Cllr Eves will be phoning the bank this week to sort internet banking.

      The account is now open.

 

31.24 UPDATE ON OWNERSHIP OF TYDD GOTE PLAY AREA & RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

Councils Solicitor has updated that all should be through in a few weeks.

 

32.24 UPDATE ON UK SHARED PROSPERITY FUND APPLICATIONS & RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY       

Councils’ application has been submitted.

 

33.24 UPDATE ON GRANGE WIND FARM

Council have been granted £3716.67 of the £4716.67 applied for. It is hoped that the deficit will come from the UK shared prosperity fund.

Permission for the Shelter was obtained with proviso I be removed on termination of the lease.

Permission for the container was agreed on above condition plus the provision of relevant planning documents.

 

 

35.24 TO CONSIDER PARISH COUNCIL RESPONSIBILITES AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

  1. Play Area-TSM: Good but very wet.
  2. Play Area – TG: Moles are back, low usage of site.
  3. Allotments: Nothing to report
  4. Any other area: Nothing to report.

 

36.24 TO DISCUSS NEWSLETTER AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY.

It was RESOLVED to include information on the history of Medleys Charity and information about applying for grants in the next addition.

Council RESOLVED to re- allocate reserved from bus stop repair to newsletter to use as needed.

It was proposed to include a consultation on Tydd Gote Play area for the village with next addition.

 

37.24 HIGHWAYS & FOOTWAYS

a. Update on outstanding matters: Clerk to contact LCC regarding Stopping up of Long Rd/North Rd

b. To report any new matters: Footpath from village hall to Common way needs clearing – Pride team to deal.

A TRO has been put into Highways for Double yellow lines both sides of the entrance to Station Rd Tydd Gote from the A1101

 

38.24 DATE OF NEXT COUNCIL MEETING:   Next meeting is booked for 1st April, which is bank holiday, Council RESOLVED to change to 8th April 2024 at TSM Village Hall at 7pm

 

39.24 To Resolve for the council to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies    

 (admissions to meetings) Act 1960 to discuss the following matters.

It was proposed to go into closed session this was seconded and RESOLVED.

 

Members of the public left the meeting at 9.10pm

 

40.24 TO DISCUSS ADMINISTRATION ISSUE AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

 

Cllrs Slaymaker and Allard will attend Councillor training on April 30th
